Dear Victory Members & Friends
I guess it will not be a surprise to most that I celebrate the resources of Computer Technology. However, I have never gravitated to the gaming side of the technology. I am totally lost describing or helping with computer games, of which there are thousands. My interest is the technology as a valuable tool for creativity and problem solving. So you should understand why, and hopefully be forgiving, when my students ask "Mr. Anderson may we play games on the computers? and I respond "Definitely No! We are not in class for that". Well, a few days past I realize I was sinking fast in a quicksand of ignorance, when I tried to comprehend the passage below intended to provide tactical information regarding the game “Dungeons and Dragons”,
“Unseen target, it is clear that an unseen creature has advantage on attacks rolls against a target and that target has disadvantage against the unseen creature. Now, unseen creature is not equivalent to hidden creature. A hidden creature is contemporary unseen and unheard. A hidden creature, therefore, is not "targetable" if the means of perception rely on sight and hearing.
What? How? Hmm? Yes. I was so lost! However, a certain section - “it is clear that an unseen creature has advantage on attacks rolls against a target and that target has disadvantage against the unseen creature.” - got me refocusing my thoughts on a Biblical theme about an unseen enemy.

"LET'S TALK ABOUT IT"
There is an abundance of information, survival tactics, medical discourse on the who, what and why of Covid-19. Sometimes all this information is so overwhelming and you not sure, sometimes, what is fact and what is fiction. In all this we seem to have forgotten that there is a God who controls all and is available to help us handle the pressures of Covid-19. Perhaps we need to talk more about Him to others and to Him so we can get through this event successfully. Join us today for "LET'S TALK ABOUT IT". It begins at 9:30 am on Sabbath morning, April 11, 2020. We encourage you not to miss out on this unique message.

"And friends are friends forever If the Lord's the Lord of them And a friend will not say never 'Cause the welcome will not end Though it's hard to let you go In the Father's hands we know That a lifetime's not too long To live as friends"

Returning of Tithes & Offerings
The church building is closed, but the storehouse of Heaven is still open, and God continues to pour out blessings. The building is closed but our operating expenses - water, electricity, security, etc. - and our ministries are still functioning. Your financial returns are still needed to keep us going until we are able to return to normalcy. Although we are not able to collect Offerings and Tithes the usual way, you can still return your Tithes and Offerings remotely via Adventist Giving. Safely. Securely. Easy.
AdventistGiving allows you to return your Tithe and give your offerings online while you do your online banking, are on a long business trip, on vacation, or even if you are unable to attend church due to an illness. But most important of all, if you desire to give back to the Lord all of your firstfruits as soon as you have them, you can do it immediately through AdventistGiving.
Visit the site and return your Offerings and Tithes at https://adventistgiving.ca/. Funds for your church will be disbursed to the Victory by AdventistGiving. If you choose to return your Offerings or Tithes in a physical way, contact Dr. M.G. Gregory, Elders Leslie Pitterson or James Murray to make arrangements for collecting your offerings and Tithes.
